Health on the go …

The fast pace of life.. the desire to do the best does take a toll on one’s health and the health professionals themselves aren’t spared.. in spite of being totally aware of the consequences of the neglect . The inertia to do what’s best for their own health prevents them also from actually taking the pro active steps . 
 
In reality , it’s more of a mental block rather than the actual task that prevents this. It just takes 6-7 minutes in the morning to make a  smoothie to kick start the day on a healthy note. How can one do that ? 
 
Soak the following overnight in a small quantity of water :
 
1.A spoonful of chia seeds ( to be soaked separately ) 
 
2.Following can be soaked together in a bowl :
 
(a) One dried fig
(b) 5 Almonds
( c) One walnut kernel
( d) 6-7 Raisins
 
Drain all ( except the chia seeds ) and add to a mixer  . Also , add a seasonal fruit of your choice plus some skimmed milk or curd. Churn it to a healthy elixir and enjoy the smoothie after adding the soaked chia seeds and ice .
